As the strap of the new one is aprtially made of leather, I wouldn't recommend swimming with.
You have in the box a 2d Plexy, in case of...
For light scratches you can easily polish your plexy or ask to a wathcmaker to do it for you.
For the moment, there is no dedicated book on the Polaris, but if you read the reviews we posted here about this watch, you will know all about it.
