But I mentioned in an earlier post that Rose Gold goes quite well with JLC. Still SS with a black dial has all the right looks for me. I think it's a smart move of JLC to reincarnate the good old Memovox but man I'm sure you agree with me on this one; it is the E855 with the black dial that really makes one smile from one ear to the other; hot damn that for sure is something else my friend.

I was seduced by the simple one. I found it beautiful and a nice reinterpretation of this classic. I was less convinced by the International. I was a bit disappointed by the fact that the date window finally cut the inner circle. Fr.Xavier

editions, but was a little disappointed to see the date window on the international cut into the inner circle. I also thought the font at the top with "Jaeger-LeCoultre" was too crammed against the upper borders. Perhaps a 42 mm diameter would have solved...
I'm quite happy to see that JLC didn't release it in a larger case.

I just saw a press photo from WatchTime last
night and both the date and the logo did not encroach on the inner circle. The porportions looked perfect so perhaps I spoke to soon.

Rather messy. And why did it have to grow to 40mm? I love the vintage and I love world timers, but surely they're the most useless complication/indication around.
