Here are the pictures Nicolas. Strange, but the 601 code was replaced for the word thinest quartz caliber in 1981-82 ! Cheers, Milan...  

indeed, the 601 are somehow 'oddities' in the memovox timeline, and are very little known. Here are the 2 versions I am aware of: the most 'common' version (if we might say so...) : and the very rare other version:...

I was seduced by the simple one. I found it beautiful and a nice reinterpretation of this classic. I was less convinced by the International. I was a bit disappointed by the fact that the date window finally cut the inner circle. Fr.Xavier

It is good to see the Tradition respected. It is also difficult to touch to a Myth. So, my opinion here is that JLC made the right choice. As for the window date on the Memo International, it is a Proto, and we'll see what JLC will do or not. Thanks for y...

Rather messy. And why did it have to grow to 40mm? I love the vintage and I love world timers, but surely they're the most useless complication/indication around.

Thank you Nicolas for this presentation. On such an elegant watch I much prefer the plain dial of the "simple" Memovox. The "WT" is nice but it is my opinion that the inner dial is much to cluttered. However I still can't decide between the ss and the rg!...

If you remove the lume on the hands ( which will not be a big deal as it is too thin to be useful in full darkness ) and the dots, too, some would say that it is not a good thing. As always, a consensus is impossible to find. BUT, personaly, I agree with ...

What a great report and history lesson, Nicolas. Thank you! Both watches are beautiful. I for one do not mind the date window cutting into the inner circle on the International. What does disturb me a little is the way the international time function work... 

My guess is that JLC wanted to pay an hommage to their first Memovox World Time. So, the weight of History was more important than Innovation on this watch, but it doesn't really matter to me, as it is always nice to see some nices pieces ressurging from ... 

I had a chance to see both the Master Memovox and Memovox International at the boutique, both in steel, and I found both quite nice. I prefer the simpler dial of the Master Memovox, and because I am a slave to my job and family, my opportunities to use th... 

As the Amvox I and the new Memo don't share the same Caliber, and that also makes a difference. So you should better compare the sound of a Navy Seals Alarm ( in titanium ) and the new Memo, in SS. So, you will appreciate the difference. As for the Intern...

I had the chance to see the international in London but I think the classic Memovox Reveil has a very elegant timeless appeal.It could be a perfect everyday wear.Always understated and classy.Maybe SS for me.Mo

BUT a lot of different models were made, too. So, if you divide them by the number of watches released, in some case, you will notice that scarcity is real. On another note, scarce or not, the Memo is and will remain the Memo, a nice, Class and timeless w...

Both beautiful but I find the International dial a bit 'busy' but love the deep black....if the regular Memovox had the black dial that would be worth a serious look. In fact I wouldn't be surprised one day by a boutique black edition so I'll just have to... 

Who knows? Maybe one day, the Memo will come with a black dial... Actually, if you remember it well, the Master Reveil never came with such a black dial. So, I don't know. More sober or busier dial? The dial of the " International " is indeed busier, and ... 

...already that I'm smitten with the new Memovox! I like that JLC has created a special stand just for the watch for anyone who wants to display it, and/or use it for their bedside alarm! I would be scared to knock it off my nightstand while trying to tur...

The Memodate is a Memvox... Some markets sometime gave other names to the Memovox: Wrist Alarm, Memodate are among them. Best, Nicolas

But I mentioned in an earlier post that Rose Gold goes quite well with JLC. Still SS with a black dial has all the right looks for me. I think it's a smart move of JLC to reincarnate the good old Memovox but man I'm sure you agree with me on this one; it ...
