You just shake it a little and it will start running.
Then you turn the watch and slide the crown at the back to the centre (no lifting It!) and the movement hacks.
Now you can set the time, slide the crown back off the centre and all done.
This watch is a constant force watch: it uses the power from the parts of the mainspring that are most linear and show best timekeeping.
It never runs down fully (a stop mechanism is preventig that) and it never winds fully (a stop mechanism prevents also that).
