I wish I could have found such a gorgious watch. Although its size could be quite outdated, its shape, its dial, its lungs are very attractive. The bakelite box is the icing on the cake.
My only concern regarding vintage watches would be the overall condition : not being an expert in watches, I could easily be fooled, and the documentation on "very" vintage watches (before the 50's I'd say) is rather scarce and incomplete to help you avoiding such mistakes.
Nevertheless I am ready to go as vintage as possible since I often have the feeling that modern watches tend to look alike each other (like cars, if I may compare).

From what I have read on Zaf's web site, the release was scheduled for "late July 2008 if all goes as planned." (posted on the 12th of May) But if you have more fresh information, I would be pleased to know the updated release date (even for a bad news......

On the case back, you can read Lecoultre, but on the movement, it is written Jaeger Le Coultre... I believed that this kind of mismatch wasn't good, some few exceptions apart. Is this watch one of theses few exceptions? Best. Nicolas
case markings are correct
Actually, you will never find a Jaeger LeCoultre signed case in any vintage Jaeger LeCoultre. LeCoultre is the correct marking whatever is written on the dial. The other 'rule' you might confuse with is that indeed most frequently the name on the movement...
