Hi,

Indeed you have to fully open the curtain to activate the repeater and then it begins to ring when you let it go back closed.

At that time you should not open it again as it could be harmful to the calibre.

So yes you can't see the repeating plate working!

In normal use the front face is covered by the curtain. You can reverse the watch and see the back face and read the time on it.

I have no other pic of the back face in fact. Sorry! The watch was still a bit rare and there was only one in the closed display and one other around.

For the Master QP, a tempting watch in steel indeed but I didn't see it in fact.

We'll see it soon hopefully.

So you may have understood now that the original reason for all these is a celebration. 1931 saw the birth of a watch that became an icon, a real icon, one of the very few real icons of the watch amateurs, and to some extent beyond the realm of watch amat...  

So this makes it the second "rideau'

Actually, although this has not been mentioned, this watch to me seems very inspired by one of its predecessaor, the small purse watch 'à rideau' Not a repeater, but operating on the same principle...

Being there and having the possibility to speak with Joel Cordier and some of the watchmakers of the Manufacture about this new Minute Repeater is always a superb moment. I love the 2 dials of this Reverso, and the concept of the open dial, lime on the MM...

Call me thick, call me dense, call me whatever, but how does this minute repeater chime out the hours, quarters, and minutes? I don't see a slide button trigger to start the chiming process... If I read the article correctly, you activate the repeater by ... 

This one is definitely out of reach…

it is without doubt a stunner...then my dealer told me the price..!! But the only thing I don't understand is that it only activates the repeater when the 'curtain' is closed so you can never see the movement working..? Are there any pics of the reverse f...
