My son and I have already been scouting the market a bit and we both stumbled upon JLC a brand we weren’t very familiar with
Going shopping together and collecting the watch together, regardless how much we would like that, will be bit difficult as we live in different continents an odd 8,000 mile apart
Obviously we will try to plan our trips such that we will be together on the 30th birthday but that’s hard to predict.

Ps the JLC that till now is not only my favorite but both our favorite is the ultra thin perpetual calendar in steel with silver dial (I like the black dial bit better haha). So probably the budget must be increased a bit but fortunately it’s a budget not a hard ceiling
