I’ve always loved the master grande tradition case… but it’s not a new case nor a specific duometre case so… I’m disappointed
Don’t like the crown… which - even if my point of view is subjective - doesn't go well with the box's design.... It looks more like a wart than a mole...
I don't like the blue used either... I find it pale and cold/clinical.
I have mixed feelings about the price of steel. Admittedly, the price is not out of line with the finishes and the very special movement of the duometre... but it's just a little less than that of the gold model (boutique price before launch of new models)...On the other hand, the price of precious metal models is insane...
I can see why you might like the new line... but given the lack of novelty - apart from the design, which recycles various things - and the fact that I already own two of them... I'll pass on these three models. For the asking price, I'll buy something else...

The steel/blue is beautiful...
...as for moon phase, the old version looks like it uses the silk-screen moon from the Reverso, which is inelegant. The metal disc is simpler but more elegant.
I agree for the silk screen... Maybe cheaper than a metal disc but it's personal, I prefer it because it's more poetic.
And this blue is not the one I prefer (I mean the color) ... ...

I agree for the case design that I've always liked and for the look... even if I love the austere design (Thanks to my German origin ;-) ) Not a fan of joker face and copper... so... this iteration is not for me.
And there are a lot of things I don't find coherent... and I think that's a bit of a shame....

I do find the new Duometre offering attractive and a nice re-take on the double barrel complication movement. The one-line one-case motto isn't exactly a secular tradition. In fact most movement lines historically have had different cases to fit the style...

I think that is good that such an important line as Duometre
has an incremental change and not radical one. For me the gold one was a bit bulky so I do look forward to try the steel.

This is why I didn’t buy the earlier as much as I loved it. If repair and services experiences with Reverso were an indication, I cannot imagine the cost and time for this one when my kids send it in 40 years from now.
