I like your second Duomètre much more

The case was ok when it was released. It was even a very good case. But now, JLC made some changes with their cases, and it starts to be a bit outdated. In the shape and proportions.

The Duometre QL Enamel 40, 5 mm. Definitely over the three pieces you mentioned.

Yes you should, it is a pure marvel.

Out of those 3 I would choose the FPJ CB but as Nico recommended, you might want to check out the Duometre QL with enamel dial as it is an amazing piece as well 😉

Superb write-up mon ami. I agree with almost everything you wrote about this version of the Duometre à Chronographe, except the case. I actually like the case, although I do understand your point about design and maybe it could have been 40.5mm...

Grandiose duo, my friend. I have another goal: Getting the three Duometre in WG: Chrono, UTT, QL Enamel. THAT would be the creme de la creme.

I'm with you on that, minus the UTT for me, but definitely the QL enamel dial 😉👍

Now it is time for JC to go ahead and to make a new one... BUT I will never sell mine even for a new and / or maybe nicer one. They already put the bar high...

Indeed, we have discussed this at length prior. I would love to add a Duometre Rattrapante at some point if JLC ever decides to make one...

A Duometre Perpetual Calendar... I think we may see something in that vein, one day.

Hmm, I don't think so, especially if the price reflects the quality of the piece. I don't think a Duometre PCC is more than a Duometre Rattrapante 🤷‍♂️

Well for both Lange and Patek, their Rattrapantes are pretty much in line with the price of their PCC, compare a 1815 PCC or DatoPerpetual with a Double Split and a PP 5270 with their 5370 as examples 🤷‍♂️

Yes, you are right, sometimes this black dial turns charcoal. Classic, instead of dated? Good, my friend. Really good.
