Glad the watch arrived back in working order and scratch free!

 

The most important thing is that the watch is with you again and that the service seems to have fixed the issues, without adding new ones - like the scratching or polishing you were worried about.

The packaging is simply bizarre and the papers anything but adequate. Still anything but a service experience one could call acceptable, even if the service itself seems to have been OK and the turnaround time quite par for the course (at least in terms of the watch industry).

Quite if you will rediscover your liking for the specific watch is of course your personal decision. I hope you do - it is a great piece IMHO. That you do not feel like another product from them, I understand, though.

Now in case you decide to keep it, I hope any further service experiences are much more satisfactory!
