I just posted a glowing review of the Montblanc 1858 Tachymeter...

 

...but my service experience with MB mirrors yours. They are utterly incompetent in this arena. As a matter of fact I mentioned that as a,major concern to the boutique when I was deciding on purchasing this watch and they assured me all is well now. Well, apparently not.

My wife has a Minerva Palladio chronograph that had a pusher missing. It was a horrendous 18 month saga of misplaced paperwork, poor communication between the departments, constant turnover of staff and a VERY high charge to add insult to injury.

Not a good way to cultivate clients or build a good brand image for sure.

I'm sorry you have to go through this for a current production high end piece under warranty. Unfortunately, my experience with Patek isn't much better. I would rank them very low for customer care. All they care about is selling the watch, you are persona non grata after that. And they dare charge what they do for the current collection at the current prices and imagine they will continue unscathed?
