I almost always wear shirts that are relatively fitted (not custom tailored, just very fitted). The cuffs on these shirts are relatively small, anything thicker than a Rolex Submariner (which is a tight fit already where the button would break) would not ... 

When I reviewed the Rieussec a few years ago, I didn't think it was too thick to not fit under my shirt cuff. I think it may not fit under your shirt cuff because you have a really small wrist, hence your cuff circumference is smaller than most guys. It's... 

I agree about the shirt cuffs, proportionally, the clearance I have in my cuffs are rather small. This brushed/satin finished bracelet would soften out most of the polished finish on the watch case. Here's a picture of a Rieussec that looks very discreet ...  

I see a hand wind variant in my future. I was especially pleased with the details of the bracelet. It says a lot when great comfort can be achieved on a small wrist, as that cannot be said for many brands.

You are absolutely correct, we often times see imprecise fitments in the bracelet. My primary bracelet watch has always felt too tight or too loose and there's little that I can do about it (they make a very ugly 1.5 link that I'm considering to procure a... 

While I have some issues with the design (I don't like the night/day and date indicator windows in particular), and don't think it's necessarily an easy-on-the-eyes dial for telling time, I do appreciate the historical connection to the Rieussec timewrite... 

You are absolutely correct in all aspects. I'm now gravitating towards the non-Hometime version as well, the gray dialed variant I had a picture of towards the end of the review. that one is easier to read because it doesn't have the cut-out in the dial. ...

Just to note, there is no non-GMT version of the automatic Rieussecs. The only non-GMT versions are the manual wind MB R1XX versions which are three times the price.

Relatively little amount of play, no taper in width nor thickness. Very sturdy bracelet. Agree with you on the dial. I really like the dial on the version in your first picture because you can fully see the position of 6 o'clock. Thanks for reading and fo...
