Thanks for the review Patrick
When I reviewed the Rieussec a few years ago, I didn't think it was too thick to not fit under my shirt cuff. I think it may not fit under your shirt cuff because you have a really small wrist, hence your cuff circumference is smaller than most guys.
It's nice to see different variations of the Rieussec, and I too believe it would look much better on a leather strap instead of metal bracelet. Another thing, it may look better with a satin brushed finished case as well. When you have a polished case with a polished bracelet, I feel that look is too gaudy so I hope Montblanc makes a satin brushed model in the future as another variant.
Cheers,
Anthony
Thanks Patrick.

I enjoyed your review and the attention you payed to this watch and its movement, particurly your discussion of the vertical clutch. I had an opportunity to try one of these on in Beverly Hills and like you I was impressed with the watch, particulary at i...

I agree about the shirt cuffs, proportionally, the clearance I have in my cuffs are rather small. This brushed/satin finished bracelet would soften out most of the polished finish on the watch case. Here's a picture of a Rieussec that looks very discreet ...
Great reading, Patrick!

While I have some issues with the design (I don't like the night/day and date indicator windows in particular), and don't think it's necessarily an easy-on-the-eyes dial for telling time, I do appreciate the historical connection to the Rieussec timewrite...

You are absolutely correct in all aspects. I'm now gravitating towards the non-Hometime version as well, the gray dialed variant I had a picture of towards the end of the review. that one is easier to read because it doesn't have the cut-out in the dial. ...
Looked at one today.

Thank you for the wonderful review. After reading it, I wandered by a Montblanc boutique and decided to take a look. I examined one with a black dial on a strap. I thought it looked like a beautiful watch. The quality of the execution was very high. Thoug...
Great idea!

That's a great idea, to have a transparent sapphire ring or sapphire discs. That would be unique. You're correct, there's a certain solid feeling one gets with that watch. A very solid feeling with a solid heft to the watch case. I love the design of the ...

A comment and a question. Question first: I think I like the looks of this bracelet, if you must, (Better on strap I think.) as a match for the Rieussec better than the previous generation, but this bracelet does not appear as sturdy...is the appearance d...
