The monopusher chrono is my favorite of the Villeret series...

Thank you Nicolas for your kind words.  As always, I'm so enthralled that our views, our perceptions, and even our tastes are so similar in many ways.

The Monopusher chrono 16-29 is my favorite of the Villeret series.  I still recall our equal enjoyment of them during IGOTT 2 last year, and the makeshift light-box you created to photograph them in.  I find it difficult to recall a better traditional chronograph than the Villeret mono-pusher; there are some manufactures that come close, but I cannot think of any that can equal the craftsmanship of the Villeret chronograph.  We often say "things aren't the way they used to be" a saying that gives a nod to the way things were done in the past.  I do believe that the modernization of the watch manufactures really puts the Minerva Villeret timepieces in a very unique position.  A classic watch, in today's modern world.  A bit of a time capsule in a sense.

Pleased that you read and enjoyed my post.
