about the Sapphire crystal. I went to try on a Tudor Pelagos and I coulda sworn there was NO crystal on those watches. No reflections, no distortion, no raised edge...nothing. It was kinda weird.

The new one is nice, and it sure has caused a stir with old school Panerai fans. I myself am on "the list" for it, and look forward to it arriving. But being completely honest, all - well almost all - of these modern pieces are nothing more than "inspired...
