It's got to be about PRESENCE...
No other watches that I've worn prior to Panerai had the physical and emotional presence that these tuna cans have on the wrist. There is a feeling of attachment that I've not experienced with other brands. Of course, this is a combination of design, size, and on some models the manual wind (also new to me).
