We can have both the case and crystal made from Tungsten Carbide. It's almost as dense, and the clear form (sold as Moissanite) has a really high IR, so we get more glare!

The PAM249 has the colored luminova
so hopefully maybe Panerai can make some more models with the same colored luminova? Only thing though, is colored luminova doesn't glow as bright as plain luminova so u lose some luminosity when u mix in colors. Cheers, Anthony
