It is a great looking vintage inspired old school Panerai
But I am more than a little confused by the pictures in some it seems really close to the original colour finish yet in others it seems to be a really dark black and of course a prefer the lighter look. Marc

I am not sure if it's good value with the P6000 movement. Besides, on a personal level, I am not too comfortable wearing relatively larger watches these days.

It would be different for Panerai. The 202/A will remain highly collectible. It is super though to find. This homage is the next best thing. And will be easier to find... And fund!

And actually like your thinking. But I think the difference with the JLC Tribute is that the actual vintage is very, very hard to find. For the PreV watches they are a bit more accessible than say a vintage JLC. But some collectors do think it hurts their...
Me too, I am attracted by this new MM. And try to get a correct 202/A. Especially non matching... You will see it is not an easy game at all... AND...
The Pre V MM was issued for the Italian Navy. Which makes it more desirable and which makes a huge difference with the new MM.
