What disappoint me the most is the lack of professionalism, I know very well that we have good and bad experiences with them, but if they really want to sell us emotions, traditions, craftsmanship and all the marketing related bla bla bla, they must be ready to act quickly and properly.

Thanks for sharing this experience -- frankly the whole thing sounds extremely odd. So according to Richemont Italia (I assume), you are supposed to hand 560 euros cash to the DHL guy who shows up at the door with your watch?
I agree you should definitely give them a call and arrange for a more reliable (and possibly more modern) delivery method. I can see you're relatively close to Milano but not in the same region, so maybe now they can't get the watch to you because of this...
