PAM 360 DLC Versus 26K PVD
Can experts on this forum enlighten me on the durability and corrosion/scratch resistance of DLC materials n PVD materials? Of course the best would be ceramic which would scratch less frequently but crack but PVD and DLV? I had the experience of an acquaintance telling me to never buy the old PVD pams because the mere cuff of your shirt would scratch it up over time. How about DLC? Do hairline marks show up easily as well?

and DLC is the material being applied to. True that the old PVD'ed Panerai were pretty fragile and the current lines of 26K, 28L & 360 are all PVD'ed w/ DLC which is supposed to be a lot tougher. Having said that, I never had the ball to see how scratch r...
