Who needs a secondhand?
When one thinks about it, are we really counting seconds in our everyday lives? Panerai may be my favorite brand. Love the cushion shape, larger size and fabulous dials. It may be somewhat of a sickness, but I now have two Radiomirs, three 1950 Luminors and a Submersible. All but the Submersible are 47mm. They have supplanted the more traditional looking and sized watches in my collection as my likely favorites. This is my PAM662 I picked up last week in new unworn condition. 47mm but feels very comfortable on my not so huge wrist.
Tried on a couple new Radiomirs at the local Boutique
I’ve been wearing mostly 41mm watches lately-they feel right -thinking these 45’s with the small wire lugs are a possibility Luv the gunmetal finish -just not comfortable at over $12K and no seconds hand! ...
I really like them!
And everything is unfortunately very expensive! Panerai makes really cool watches. The California dial (Roman numerals and Arabic numerals) looks great in my eyes!
They both look great.
The (read: My) frustration and barriers of price is unfortunately not going to change, which pushes one to the secondary market, if anything. As an aside it does make me wonder how well Panerai boutiques perform in general.🤔
The only Panerai I have considered is that Radiomir
with wire lugs and California dial. Looks good and fits surprisingly well for the size.
