Budding spring tells me it’s probably time to put the wooly straps back into storage till autumn 🐑
So a last hurrah with one on the Omega Railmaster. Probably the first Omega that came with an OEM cashmere strap (that one can be worn over all four seasons at a stretch) and works with woolier varieties, too, IMHO.
As for the watch - especially related to the recent post by Filip: I really, really like it and it’s a rare Omega that does not rehash the past, has a METAS certified movement, is without a date… At the same time I feel they hardly developed the line further or gave it a clear market positioning. Not even sure it’s still in the catalog, which is a shame.

What a great looking Omega Seamaster Railmaster Co-Axial Master Chronometer.
It really has a very strong vintage vibe with its lollipop second hand and the faded grey dial but gives you all the advantages of a modern Omega movement at the same time just a great watch IMHO. Marc

What convinced me as well is that it was not just a rehash of a past piece but its own thing. I was probably one of the few that chose this over the anniversary piece 😉
The Rail is my favorite Omega . . .
