i have a cal 561 connie with redial, but the case and movement are in excellent condition.
i'm sorry Hoi, i dont want you to take what i'm about to say personally, it is more a comment on your opinion of your expertise.
i read all the posts on the Omega page, but dont often post on the ones which involve technical detailing as that is not my strong point, but i notice that when you make a comment on a redial, hand lengths etc you put it in a way that states 'i am right and everyone else is wrong'. there is no way anyone can say that when it comes to vintage Omega's as the majority of us know.
i have known Bill via email for more years than i care to remember and respect him for his heaps of knowledge on vintage Omega's, but even Bill will never say never as Chuck Maddox (R.I.P) would never say never.
so i just ask that you listen to what others have to say, take it on board and question your own opinions before putting them out there in the big world of the internet.
as for this watch, you think its 100% and have compared it to one you own, several others think its a redial which could mean you have a redial yourself. that would throw the cat amongst the pidgeons with your rules. there is always the thought that Pat is perfectly happy with what he's bought and doesnt care if the dial is original or not, an answer that is hard to decide without seeing it in person IMO.
thats all i have to say and hope you will take it in the way in which it is meant.
best
Graham
