I've always had a soft spot for this model
One thing I want to add in its defense: I don't think it has fauxtina! It obviously has lume the same color as lume used as fauxtina, but, as you say: it's NOT a 'recycling the past' design. It's meant to look like a modern watch. So that lume color is not representing the faded color of old tritium... it's just the lume color they chose for that dial! On the 60th anniversary Railmaster (which I owned!) that same lume color is fauxtina. On this watch, I say, it isn't.

I think Railmaster is making a real comeback. I am so impressed with the METAS movements. I have not had even the SLIGHTEST problem with any of my Omega movements. NASA?…wow!

The jeans dial one had white lume if I recall correctly but as said I can well live with the lume color choice here 😊
