Omega

As with many of my watches it was many moons ago. Actually the first Omega I purchased was a Moonwatch, albeit that was a present for my father, as he worked for NASA in his early career, so a suitable memento. When the 60th anniversary and this came out ...  

Although I really like it and use it quite a bit on other watches 😉

And interesting timing with the new release. It was a courageous take on a historical, if a bit low key, model of the line-up and which wasn't just a reissue, which I feel needs to be praised. Looking forward to seeing many pictures, the dial looks very p...

I think Railmaster is making a real comeback. I am so impressed with the METAS movements. I have not had even the SLIGHTEST problem with any of my Omega movements. NASA?…wow!

They had a civilian arm to sell technology and patents that were developed as part of space program but had a civilian application 😊 As you say the movements are pretty trouble free, even if I would have hoped for slightly better accuracy 😉 But as the wat... 

One thing I want to add in its defense: I don't think it has fauxtina! It obviously has lume the same color as lume used as fauxtina, but, as you say: it's NOT a 'recycling the past' design. It's meant to look like a modern watch. So that lume color is no... 

The jeans dial one had white lume if I recall correctly but as said I can well live with the lume color choice here 😊
