You are right: I used to wear colored gold more often than white metals! But, as far as this platinum Toric is concerned, I was able to compare the feeling directly with my 5098P and the lack of any lively feature like a guilloché dial or playful numerals made it look too icy and "inert" (if that makes sense).

I was told the nubuck straps are made by a small shop in Italy.
Although Hermes is part owner of Parmigiani it no longer is the strap supplier.
