Parmigiani

Thank you so much.

Concerning the movement design or architecture, I share your feelings: it isn’t mind-blowing. And I would add that I personally prefer the traditional finishing with Côtes de Genève. But the very clean and clear presentation of the balance and escapement wheels is very well done and I like it.

My reservations concerning the strap width are indeed related to my 16 cm wrist and to being used to narrower sizes (LF: 20-16; LUC: 19-16; Patek 5098: 17-14). The CdV is 20-18, but I wear it now with a 20-16 strap for which I have purchased a VC 16 mm buckle.

As far as taking photos is concerned, my experience is that the policy changes with every situation: at the Geneva PP Salon, I wasn’t allowed to take any photos of a minute repeater (whether front or back) and I wasn’t allowed to shoot the back of the 5370. But in Florence, the PP dealer let me take any photo I wanted…

Thanks again so much, M4.

Best, Emmanuel
