Thanks for this great post and pictures.
For me personally the new minimalistic Toric style works better with the Small Seconds model.
If I could choose I would take the "old" style Perpetual Calendar and the new style Small Seconds 🙂.

My favorite is the petite seconde, I just wish the movement design was a little more exciting but that's a tiny gripe. All the rest is wonderful: small size, nice colors without being too loud, no fuss dials, a lot to like.

The dial is uncommonly clean for a perpetual calendar. The Parmigiani Toric may lack the advanced technical features of some of its competitors, but the watch is extremely easy on the eyes. This is the most attractive perpetual calendar dial I've ever see...
