the concept of if you do something simpler, everything must be perfect or the imperfections are noticed much more.

For me personally the new minimalistic Toric style works better with the Small Seconds model. If I could choose I would take the "old" style Perpetual Calendar and the new style Small Seconds 🙂. Best, Gerard

The aesthetics of the time only variant look very cool and "casual" to me. Might look good with my casual sportswear uniform. Will definitely need to try it out at my local Parmigiani dealer!

The price tags on these things are higher (47,000 CHF for rose gold and 54,000 CHF for platinum) than I expected and I'm not sure I can justify it costing that much more than a Lange. But, if the local dealer does have them, I will take a closer look!

Prefer the time only. Any idea where these straps are made ? Would love to order similar.

My favorite is the petite seconde, I just wish the movement design was a little more exciting but that's a tiny gripe. All the rest is wonderful: small size, nice colors without being too loud, no fuss dials, a lot to like.

I was told that another complication will be coming in the future (no timeline) using this same movement as the base. So the base movement is for the 3-hand Petite Seconde, and at least two add-on complications: the QP and the mystery complication. M4

Judging from photos, the platinum small seconds is my favorite here. But you know better than us all, as you’ve seen the QP in the metal. And the way the rose gold version sticks to your mind seems to indicate that it’s much nicer in real life. I guess yo... 

Well, I've lusted for the platinum small seconds for a year now so it may well end up carrying the day. The dial on that one is magical. M4

I'm moving the other direction . . . too thin doesn't feel right on my wrist. I prefer a little heft on the wrist. To each their own, as the saying goes. M4

I find these new watches to just be breathtaking my favourite is still the Toric QP with the Morning Blue Dial and Arctic Grey strap in platinum. It is most probably my favourite watch of all of the releases from Watches and Winders this year and not just... 

And, yes, there were moments when I was fixated on the Toric QP Morning Blue even if I did end up preferring the gold version. It's personal preference, they're both stunning. Thank you for taking the time to comment. M4

I think PF thought this one out very carefully and the execution is, as always, outstanding. The movement finishing (the style, not the quality) is less to my personal taste but hey who am I to criticize. As others said, to me the quintessential watch to ...

The dial is uncommonly clean for a perpetual calendar. The Parmigiani Toric may lack the advanced technical features of some of its competitors, but the watch is extremely easy on the eyes. This is the most attractive perpetual calendar dial I've ever see...

I am not offended by the subdials being below the center line. I do think it is an odd juxtaposition to have this beautifully clean and open dial marked with two highly populated and hard to read subdials. I guess that is my hesitation on loving it. One t...
