Beautiful dial and I would like to say the name calligraphy is also something special! Even my wife who is very picky said the dial was beautiful! Wear it in good health! And what a present for the end of the year! Samer
Dear Friends, let me officially share with you the HUGE joy of this new enamel piece, which I picked up upon arrival in Italy last week --- simply put, one of the best-looking watches I have EVER seen in person! I know my pictures will never do it justice...
The enamel work by AP is so amazing 🤩 and the claus de Paris really accentuate the painting ! Enjoy this piece often while your other ones are jealous🤣 My Rousseau 🦁 lion better not have a GTG with the fish 🐠 🐟, otherwise it will eat them for breakfast 😂 ...
I send you my best wishes for next New Year 2022. Be it with much Peace and Good Health for you and your beloved ones and enjoy your wonderful collection so much! Cheers! Abel
Hopefully the World will return to more normal times soon and allow for travels again. A big hug for you Fab and again my best wishes for Next Year. Cheers! Abel
The photos of this (I can only imagine) does not come close to capturing the mesmerising dial, nor the unimaginable moment. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful occasion with such wonderful photos, and high praise on this acquisition!!!
That’s a real score with Patek and also the Rolex OP. If only I had a girlfriend like yours LOL. Very happy for you mon ami, wear it in the best of health. Looking forward to more photos Best Gatsby
My first thought was Gordon Lau would be envious!! And for me my favourite has to be the lovely Italian seaside village which always takes my breath away no matter how many times you post it.
This new 5177 is however on the same level artistically, so if I were not from Genova, I confess the competition would have been much tougher between the two!😂 Cheers my friend.
What amazes me about this enamel is as though the body of the fish appear to be shimmering in the dark blue sea. So beautiful! And the hobnail bezel is my favorite! You deserve this!
Beautiful dial and I would like to say the name calligraphy is also something special! Even my wife who is very picky said the dial was beautiful! Wear it in good health! And what a present for the end of the year! Samer
The dial conveys such a sense of depth that I know must be even better in person. Huge congratulations on this very special piece. Your collection of rare handcrafts is truly beautiful and inspiring!
What an amazing reference!! Love the color and I’m sure is more vibrant in person…only if WPS can one day migrate to the VR world and we can all share in VR. Would be amazing!!
One could imagine this one as an ultimate mafia boss watch...on a wrist of someone who sends people to "sleep with the fishes" 😄😉😜 Enjoy it in good health, Fab! 🙏👍👌
All that occurrence is rare …congratulations, you are a true purist and overall great guy deserving everything, that is good in life, you receive. Your collection is only surpassed by you giving of yourself. I am only but a mere mortal but got my own Chri...
And the green OP is my personal favorite color of the new OPs. You are blessed with a thoughtful girlfriend and an abundance of some of the very best watches. Life is good!
Your watch is a piece of art that you can wear. Simply, all the details in the cloisonné enamel must keep your sight hypnotized. Thanks for sharing and as always: wear it in good health. Oh! And happy holidays! Best. René
that is an incredibly beautiful piece! an amazing collection of art pieces you are accumulating, can not decide which one of them would be my favorite to wear. One piece I understand shares a special spot for you as it is your hometown, and if I had one w...
This dial is amazing and … enchantingly beautiful. It looks almost three dimensional!! Also your whole collection you showed in this post is very impressing. But this “School-of-the-fish-“dial…. A really great addition to your collection. You can feel ver...
And aside from your other enamelwork pieces, I think this one is my favorite. Congratulations and enjoy this incredible and special model. What a way to close out 2021! Cheers Peter
As usual I don't have an official production number, though for sure at least 2 were produced given that my dial and the one in the official press pictures are different If I have to guess, 3 to 5 might be a reasonable range (similarly to Boccadasse, of w...
Have you acquired anything from this year's Rare Handcraft collection? I regard Patek's Rare Handcrafts as among the very best horology and today's art have to offer...and I'm already excited at the thought that the announcement of the 2022 creations is o...
My most sincere congrats Michael, and an equally enormous Thank-You for sharing this stunning new entry with the Forum!🙏😍😍 Quite amazingly, in case some of our members don’t remember, Michael and I happen to have THE ONLY TWO 5177G-010 “Boccadasse” refere...
Note that AT LEAST ONE MORE of these incredible pieces does exist, since, this time around, the watch Patek used for the press pictures and the Geneva Exhibit is *different* from both Michael's and mine Here are three photos in relatively similar position...
I am aware an AD in the UK received a "School of Fish" allocation and I will ask their watch manager whether it was the same as Patek's official picture
Even the three "A.P" signatures are so different....My girlfriend just pointed out to me that the "press fish" at 6 o'clock goes the other direction than the rest of the school, unlike Michael's and mine!! And on and on.... This is truly the marriage of h...
This was the collage: [Michael's 5177G-010 "Boccadasse" (left) and mine (right)] .....and this was Patek's official press watch: How many different watches can you see above....two or three? VERY interesting! Cheers. ...
