In need of some sizing advice
Hi all. First time poster long time lurker. I have had my eyes on the PP 5000, 6000, and 6006 for a while now. My wrist is on the larger side (18.5cm and flat (60mm flat)). The challenge is that I can't find any of these watches to try on in-person so I'm left guessing and reading reviews. I love the 5000G/J, and I've heard that they wear much larger than 33.4mm. Any feedback on the sizing and fit would be much appreciated. I know I would love it once purchased, but the idea of purchasing it and it being much too small frightens me. But is 33.4mm just too dainty for a 60mm flat wrist? Would G or J make a difference? Thank you in advance for any help.
I currently have a Rolex Sub 114060 (40mm) and PP Aquanaut 5167r (40.8mm)- they fit great.

To be honest, I personally don't fully respond to the overall aesthetic of this line of Calatravas, but I still found it interesting to go through the whole line. My favorite here, would be the first one, ref. 5000G, but it's only a matter of personal tas...
I like the complete line. No version exempt.
The R is however my favourite. Only tried it on ... ...

Sporty calatrava for the win!
My favourite here also is the 5000 series. G then J. Although the G is the sportiest and under the radar, the J has the same flair that the 5070J does. Less is more? Credit phillips Credit phillips again ...

EDIT: just measured my wrist again and it's 19cm (7.5"). I'm just not sure anything under 36mm will look good
Indeed, I think that with a 19cm wrist, you should

Patel 5000 tends to wear like a 36mm watch because of the lugs
I heard this first from Tim Mosso. From my experience, this is also true. A 36mm 5 digit datejust has a tad/slight more wrist presence due to the thickness and 20mm lug width Hope this helps

Yes, this does help. I think the 5000J will fit just fine. May take some getting used to but it's such a classic fit that I don't think I will mind. Thank you again
