Patek Philippe

The following are my initial thoughts.

I got really excited when I saw 5168G, until I noticed the increased size which doesn't include the crown. The dimensions of its brother in steel (5167) is already optimal, so I don't see any need or purpose by bulking up their sports watches. I would have preferred a 5167G instead.

The 5320 is absolutely gorgeous and somewhat reminiscent of the 1526 and 2497, but it has its own personality which is a huge plus in my book. I must admit that I hope to see an annual calendar version of it some day in the future, as I really enjoy its vintage inspired design, even though I understand if it has the opposite effect on some people. You either like or dislike this timepiece.

The 5372 is simply spectacular and probably my ultimate grail, if I were fortunate enough to make it big in my life. It's enthralling to say the least. Everything is just perfect! I adore the symmetry of the dial, especially the new layout for the perpetual calendar. Wow! If you remember the cartoon wolf who used to howl like crazy, when a lovely female entered the room, then you got a good image of me right now.

I really liked the 5170G-001 (doctor dial version), but as of now I'm not really into the dial of the 5170P. It's reminiscent of a Girard-Perregaux with a similiar design. I think you have to experience this one IRL in order to make a final assessment, because it could also take you by surprise. I honestly wished for a platinum version featuring black oxidized Breguet numerals on a salmon dial with telemeter scale.

I'll update my opinion on these watches after having seen them at Basel this Saturday.
