To put things in perspective, The new BMW series 1 hatcback 118i (A) is being sold for about US$131000 here.

Hi All, I am just wondering , ( it might be pointless ) ... What type of car or cars would Patek owners be driving ? I am planning for a Patek ( sooner or later ) and I am driving a Ford Focus.

On a normal day, my "shoes" are addidas trainers and my car is a VW Golf Diesel. On a night out, to go with my 5170, my shoes are by Louis Vuitton or Gucci and my car was a Rosso 430 Scuderia Spider - which has now been sold, so back to Golf Diesel.

Swiss make the best watches, Germans make the best cars,
Italians make the best suits and so on. Therefore, it is a good assumption that a significant fraction of Patek owners drive German cars. Cheers Jim
