5140g .. perfect patek
If I could buy just one Patek .. just one, that I would wear formally to the grandest ball or adrift in a lifeboat off some third world country after my yacht sank, it would be the 5140g. The watch is pretty much perfect. If I ever had to give up my collection this would be the one watch I kept. Love the weight, the diameter.. everything about it. Buy extra straps because I wore mine daily for much of the summer, during wet and dry conditions and it needs a good polishing and a new strap already.

The 5140 is pure class, BUT
The 5980 is coherent... A Nautilus i a sport watch, and a Chrono fits well in a Sport Watch, but if you don't like it you did well, and going on a 5140 is a nice solution, nice and very elegant! Congrats! Best. Nicolas
