For me Patek has never been synonymous with class...

Don't take me wrong.
Many PP watches can be the perfect watch for someone dressed with class of course.
PP is for me synonymous with very nicely and finely conceived, built, finished and cased manufacture calibres! Some watches are dressy indeed, but that's not compulsory!
In fact a watch will never be enough to give some class to its wearer, but someone can wear a PP with class!
A 5016 with sport clothing is obviously not suited and pretty much ridiculous! A 5980 with sport clothing could be a sign of fine taste for a sportsman!

The 5140 is pure class, BUT
The 5980 is coherent... A Nautilus i a sport watch, and a Chrono fits well in a Sport Watch, but if you don't like it you did well, and going on a 5140 is a nice solution, nice and very elegant! Congrats! Best. Nicolas
