5224R-001: One month experience
I wear this 24-hour Travel Time daily since I got it for the last 30 days.
It is a comfortable watch sitting on my 6.5 inch wrist, thanks to the <10mm height and curvy stepped lugs, makes it wrap around my wrist.
Indeed it takes some time to get used to the different ways of telling time, but once I familiarise with the 24 hours indexes, it is a very elegant and fun watch to appreciate.
- I love the 44 rose-gold appliqués on the dial, makes it a pleasant to stare on, lots of going on, adding to the 3 dimensional feel. Some days, I thought it looks like a roulette, some days like a Chinese Feng Shui Luo Pan.
- I sort of split the indexes into 4 quadrants of 6 hours, top left is my high energetic zone (06:00 - noon), top right is my reflection zone (noon - 18:00). Bottom right is laid back chill zone.
- I "dress-up" the watch by replacing it with an alligator leather square scales, shinny dark blue (same as 5905R-010) with fold-over Calatrava deployant. Matching to its elegant.
I find it extremely easy to fit into different needs and occasions. Swapping the strap helps to match it with jeans and casual wear, vice versa if I need it for formal dinner.
Easily my travel companion, and with no date, makes it even easier for me to pick up anytime with a quick fix.

Circular striated centre
