A steel beauty
Seeing these rectangular Patek Philippe watches powered by caliber 9-90 always gets me very excited.
Ref. 519 seems to be very rare and this particular example from 1937, with its faceted crystal and steel case (21 x 40 mm incl. lugs), looks quite wonderful even if the case has a few nicks.
I would like it even more if it was made of platinum instead of steel, but I find it incredibly tempting nonetheless...
For comparison, here are the only two other examples I've been able to find online, one in steel from 1938, the other in yellow gold from 1937. I find them far less attractive, personally.
