I do like the type change on
the 5231 but overall I like the 5131 better in size and the crown guard. I would love to get the enamel dial version someday but for now I will stick wth my SE NYC world timer ...Jim ...
Thank you for posting this image of the 5231J. I have a question for you (or others who have sent it in the metal).
On the Patek website the dial looks stunningly beautiful with the most vibrant and bright colors. In the image you post, the dial IMHO appears dark and frankly rather dreary. I suspect this is the result of the light in which the image of the wrist shot w...

my only (Big) regret is the logo on the enamel. I’m really struggling with this detail. Otherwise it’s perfect for me.

And since I havent seen it IRL, I will reserve my opinion. I really want one. I think, in pictures, I prefer the new case. Its, just that I see the enamel as a little work of art, put into a watch, so to have the logo across disturbs my perception of that...
