Civilization is overrated...
Humans are inherently selfish, it's an in-born trait. We are civilized mainly because we live in a society where there is order and abundance; and society requires us to behave a certain way. But in a time of war (and for those impoverished people or the people on drugs, they feel like they're in a time of constant war), those animal instincts will kick in and prevail. Unfortunately. I'm not an anthropologist, so I'm not an authority on the subject. Just another person with his uneducated opinion.
We prob need to keep well known watches under a cuff or covered
Up somehow, especially gold watches, a gold Rolex may be asking for trouble these days, should be worn discretely. The issue with having something really really nice is that someone else ends up wanting it. Horrible, nonetheless.

The heinous acts we have done to each other, “right” and “wrong” is really a made up word. Sometimes it is in the “decider’s” choice what is right or wrong.

This is known to happen in Jakarta too. I was told of stories of guys whose hands were chopped off while walking down the street. I guess the precaution is to wear long sleeves, and be more stealthy.

I agree. So many people are out of jobs and don't know where their next meal is coming from..
