I have often thought that the 5270 would be my exit watch. Is there really such a thing?

...do you mean exit as in 'the last watch you will buy/collect'? Or do you mean exit as 'the watch that will be on your wrist when you meet the great watchmaker in the sky'? Either way, it's a great term... Fantastic watch as well btw.

I mean “exit” as the last watch I will collect. That is “exit” watch collecting and stick with one watch forever.

Because if it does, then it would mean your passion for watches is also over, and you won't want to wear that one fancy watch forever either.. Just my two bitcoins, of course.

After all this is a kind of sickness.

My mini-collection includes PP, AP, ALS but 5270r is my favorite and THE ULTIMATE watch if one day I decide to have only 1 grail...this would be it. Great acquisition and wear in good health!

I purchased my 5270 in December . It is def a grail watch. I take mine out of the safe, put it on, stare at it, pinch myself, and put it back. Lol. Best of luck

I am still getting used to the fact that I own this watch. I love how the opaline dial works very well with the rose gold. It make the watch appear very warm.

Wear it in great health, once you get around to it.

Normally on a complicated watch like this I would prefer a white metal, but not on 5270. The rose is the one! Enjoy for many years! Best, patekova

Yes I was considering the 5270G-001 and 018. I liked them both. However the warmth and the look of the rose gold was very hard to beat. It really is an amazing look , rose gold and opaline dial.

This is the one to end all... 👍👍 but I suspect not for you. 😆
