Congrats vaderlim!
It looks amazing! Every time I wear it I love it more and more. To me this is a true classic!
Personally I can't wait till the 5170R and the 5170P are finished and the model will be discontinued. I think it will be much more appreciated after they stopped producing this model.
Enjoy your beauty in the best health!
Best,

My first Patek Philippe 5170G
By: GT3 : July 11th, 2015-15:50
Hello guys, Finally I decided to go for it! My first PP 5170G! I absolutely love it! Here are some pics: I love it on my wrist! Here' s a shot with it's new born 2015 sibling Not bad either. ;-) But I prefer the pulsation scale on the dial. Can you guess ...
White/ Silver for me too
By: Cinch : July 12th, 2015-02:22
It's nice to see some photos of the silver/ white and black together. I agree I think the white is the better choice here, the black subdials look a little too big for me no overall it does seem to miss the pulsation scale around the outside. Excellent ch...
Again,

the scale is not here as a "tool" but as a decoration. You don't seem to like it and that's a personal choice of course. But you have to consider that some people may like the way it looks. Furthermore, this scale is refering to the first chronographs the...
Fantastic!...

it was my first PP also and a very special acquisition for me. I don't agree that most members would pick the black dial, the white version with the pulsations scale and breguet numbers make for a unique watch. Enjoy it. JBP
Congratulations!

The first PP in house chronograph movement is beautiful. I am sure the pressing of chronograph buttons, especially the return zero one, is an enjoyable experience. The dial with Breguet numbers is simply great! It is a classic doctor's watch with the 15 p...
First Love is the Deepest

GT3 The first Love is the deepest. Congratulations on a great choice. I would choose the dial version that you did too. I am biased being a physician so the pulsograph markings are a natural choice! One of the few Patek Philippe watches that appeal to me....
I'm very happy for you
By: Mark in Paris : July 12th, 2015-09:38
I'm preparing an article about this version of the 5170G and think it is a very important Patek chronograph. I prefer this version too because of the pulsometric scale and the smaller subsidiary dials. Even if the black dial one looks very nice too and is...
1st pick

Firstly congratulations on a super watch. Quite a splash entry into the world of PP I must say. I suppose I am in the minority here, but I much prefer the 5170 to the 5070. Better case size and timeless design. 5070 are wonderful in their own way, but in ...
A 5170p will
By: Cinch : July 19th, 2015-06:21
be interesting to see. I wonder if it would change the views of the majority towards the 5170. I'm very pleased to have found some like minded fans of the 5170 in this thread. I have been so accustomed to the opinions of the watch aficionados that the 507...

but thought maybe, as I told Nick, that the blue is already very present in today's catalogue (5270, (5524), 5124, 5200... without counting the Nautilus line or Elipse) The black is taken by the 5170G so I wonder what they can do next. A white one could b...
