Dare I jump into the fray?
This is simply one man’s opinion and hope I don’t offend anyone’s sensibility with my comments. While this watch is not my cup of tea, I can’t help but think of my own watch journey and the opinions I held. Sometime during the the late 70’s , I i became aware of the AP Royal Oak and my first thoughts were “ that’s ugly “ as time progressed and my tastes evolved, I began to look at the Royal Oak from a different vantage point and gained greater appreciation for the artistry , design and craftsmanship of the AP. Fast forward to 2012, I purchased an AP Royal Oak boutique only blue dial and it’s become the centerpiece of my humble collection. I absolutely love everything about that watch and it brings me joy, every time I wear it. Perhaps, in a few years I’ll look back on this new PP and feel differently. Sorry, If I offended anyone by calling my AP RO baby ugly.

And it's a pretty-good watch. Especially on a big arm (on a chunky guy, the cubitus is not unisex), the cubitus could well look better / more suitable than a Nautilus. ...

100% agree. Nothing against Rolex, AP, VC, Cartier, Omega, etc, and very much appreciate their contribution in horology, yet true small production independent watchmakers (and Simon Brette, etc) are creating some fantastic timepieces imho.

This watch is similar to nautilus in many aspects. It shares the same dial details, same bracelet, same movement etc.
So the watch is likely to do fine.
