I love the R version too!
But that's a tough call. Would I ever add an R and keep the A.... Good question. They are the same but so different. Honestly I couldn't give you an answer about that now. This option will be in my mind for a long long time ;-)
Maybe PP will release a 5990R in Basel? Or a 5726R? I can't wait.

I love the 5711/1A too E.

Kept R but not A
I wanted one in each metal and the thinner on bracelet. So decided to have 5712a/5980r as opposed to 5712r/5980a or which I find equally nice visually. If I was to add a Nautilus it would likely be a black or white dial piece ideally with a different move...
The R material from Patek is so delicate and discreet...
