Didn't intend to love it - but it did NOTHING wrong
Agree - this is an outstanding piece. I was allowed to try on the 5960P a couple years ago at a reseller in NYC. A busy, breathless, hectic schedule of running around to various resellers on Madison as well as the venerable 47th Street. I tried on this watch at the first stop of that long day. I was not looking for a white metal, sporty chrono on that trip and was not to be deterred from my target of locating a rose gold dress(ier) watch. However of all the non-target watches I tried on, the 5960P kept rising to the top of my memory of that hectic day as an undeniably appropriate and all-around impressive piece. I thought of the 5960P as a "one piece collection" watch.

A local (secondary, used) dealer has 5960/1a white, G/ blue dial, and the original 5960p sitting next to each other, behind the vitrine. I can't help but imagine some trading scenarios. Regards, chk
