I did come across a PT 3940 with silvery dial before. The last time I check the brochure, it says that the 5004 sports an opaline dial too but the PT 5004 I saw has a silvery dial, not white at all :-) That's why I ask about the 3970 dial since I have only seen the opaline dial version. Lovesss*CL

the solid case back is standard on the 3940P, no sapphire back available. Regarding the dial of the platinum and WG, i had the opportunity at PP in Geneva to handle both models at the same time and the dials are exactly the same.
