Thanks for that information. CL, you are right it is a beautiful watch but I prefer the movements with the full size rotor. Visually, much more attractive. Jerome, on the subject of the dial, you are correct, the Patek brochure lists the dial of all 3940 versions as opaline white.

the solid case back is standard on the 3940P, no sapphire back available. Regarding the dial of the platinum and WG, i had the opportunity at PP in Geneva to handle both models at the same time and the dials are exactly the same.
