Don’t know much about/ haven’t tasted many Japanese whiskeys …interested in anyone’s opinion that has tasted vs American or Scotch🧐🤔

My favourite got to be the Hakushu 18!
The Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve (which I just recently discovered) is a very good value...
...as it is very close to the 12-year-old, which is my favorite of all the Japanese whiskies I have tasted...
