This watch excites me very much and I hope that I can enjoy it for many years ( when it finally arrives) and then one day one of my sons will get the same pleasure from it....One can only hope....Your wife has great taste and I always ask my wife about watches because she can see past all the hype and BS and see them for what they are......I have been unable to let go of my 5970Rg so have parted with a couple of Rollies to help soften the blow a little 
I can see a theme developing in my patek taste and although love gold watches I am loving all things platinum at the mo......
I hope the 5970p will feel at home on my top shelf

Hi Cl, would you like this kind of dial? It looks a bit unbalanced to me: too tiny numbers and 5 numbers missing... I would prefer larger Breguet numbers but this would command a larger dial / watch I guess Let us see if / what Patek creates as a solution...
