Hi Poky,
We know you've been through a hard one with what happened to your Aquanaut, repeatedly, but I don't think it is right to say that "it is a huge risk and that it will come back worse and damaged". I think it is not true.
I know it was frustrating for you.
There are risks everywhere (cars etc...) and can happen for every brand (as we see from time to time on Watchprosite). We never prevent people from sharing their experiences, whether they are bad or good, but you will understand we also want to make sure they remain balanced and that such posts will not become a way to get a kind of revenge or excessive steam release material.
By the way, I think that by replacing the case of your watch Patek has shown they have taken the subject very seriously.
Most of the owners or collectors around me in Paris and people sharing on the net the return of their watch from Patek refurbishement had a perfect experience. Not "good". "Perfect". Not mentioning the refill work on the gold and Pt cases that make them nearly "as new".
However, I think that what you said and trying to convince the OP here is "excessive" and leads to missleading him (and people reading your comment). That's why I think I could bring an additional comment to your post.
Cheers Poky.
