I was actually looking at the different 5010 models and I actually payed attention to this one. You were 100% correct in saying that the Roman numeral variety is very rare which would also make it hard to find, even harder to find in pink gold which would...  

rose to yellow gold but I believe the 5010 with roman numerals is pretty difficult to find in rose gold. As you noticed, there is one in the market in yellow gold. The 5010 with baton markers is a handsome watch, it is all down to personal preference and ...

Have you had an opportunity to put a 5010 on your wrist recently? If not I think you need to do that as it should tell you whether that emotional connection is still there and whether or not it's time to move on. My bias towards moving forward does not me... 

I hadn't even thought to see if I could try it on now that so many years have passed. I understand about gauging the emotional response but since it is small and unfortunately I currently about 20 lbs heavier it may look like a ladies watch now!!!! Thank ...

Aside from your personal connection, for my taste the 5010 is a classic dress watch. The 5396, while certainly a dress watch, could be worn for more varied occasions. I would get more use out of the 5396 but that ultimately is a personal decision. Good lu... 

Sounds funny but I never actually thought about that. 5396 has significantly more complications but it is not as dressy as the gondolo. I always associate Breguet numerals on PPs with uber dressy timepieces so I guess I might not have ever noticed. Thank ...
