I agree with Moritz on this one
I purchased th 5146g when it first was released. I absolutely love this watch. I was in fact wearing this watch today. I was admiring it after lunch as the sun finally came out here and the slate dial is stunning. But I also really love the raised numerals. I find the only weakness the moon as the reflction can cause the white gold disk to be hard to see. But today we have a new moon so it is only the stars and boy it looked good. I like Moritiz' suggestion about the yellow gold with slate as it too is a stunner. I find that on my watch the brown strap is unique as it ages. I had on a light gray suit with a purple tone window pane and the coloring of this stap ages into a bordeaux color, a really perfect match. I find it looks great casual and dress, but have never used it in a short sleeve application. Here's a scan.

If money is not an issue,
then 5140... But out from those two, I would rather take 5205. However, 5146 is a nice basic Annual Calendar and that is around 4k cheaper than 5205. Best, Kari

...its just a better all-rounder (from suit to jeans and tees) where the 5205 works best with a suit. personally i'd go for the slate dial on brown strap which i think is the ultimate combo. good luck whatever you choose. Alan.
